ABSTRACT
The
morbidity and mortality related to drugs is a major public health
problem. Responsibility for the responsible provision of drug therapy
in order to achieve defined results that improve the quality of life
of patients, is constituted in a follow-Pharmaceutical care practice.
In this sense the healthcare professional or prescriber should not
have a legal view, political, ethical and scientific that the
practice of pharmaceutical care can reduce preventable problems
related to pharmacotherapy. The researcher, following the CLINICAL
PHARMACOLOGY should objectively, in the pedagogical and ethical level
to discuss the importance of pharmaceutical care as players of the
rational use of medicines. The scientific production is characterized
by its growing volume and rapid accumulation, hindering their
integration into professional practice in view of the need of
professionals to critically analyze the reliability of information in
a timely manner. Thus, we must develop the ability to locate and
access information with updated evidence, in a fast, practical and
reliable. The therapeutic success in treating diseases depends on
foundations so that the choice of treatment, drug and / or
non-medicated, the selection of scientific and rational drug
considering its effectiveness, safety and cost, as well as the
appropriate prescription, availability timely, the dispensation under
appropriate conditions and the use by the user appropriately. Thus,
clinical decisions and the relationships established between
professionals and users are essential to the therapeutic
effectiveness. This monograph developed over training "in
question" objective: technically Enhance Health professionals,
empowering them as social role in guiding the rational use of
medicines in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of conditions in
order to ensure greater therapeutic efficacy with minimal risk to the
patient, by deepening in Clinical Pharmacology. Finally: "If you

well: involve the relevant public; develop a proposed change that is
evidence-based, feasible and attractive; study the main difficulties
